Description:RisingStar was born in 1991 when I got my first show dog from Gloria Knapp of Chateau Acres fame. Chateau Acres Almond Joy, also known affectionately as "JoJo", was a well bred girl who quite simply decided that she hated the show ring. I learned so much by showing her and finally I realized that she just wasnt meant to be a show dog, however she more than made her mark in the breed in the whelping box and eventually became a Hall of Fame producer with 8 Champions to her credit.
